Philip K. Dick Day is a one-day symposium that aims to combine a celebration of all things Philip K. Dick as well as providing a platform for continued research into the author and his extensive works. Dick’s influence is spread across many aspects of contemporary culture with the consequence that PKD Day is inclusive and multidisciplinary.
Previous PKD Days have been held at Nottingham Trent University and Birmingham City University, attracting global scholars, art practitioners, postgraduate students and undergraduates brave enough to make their first foray into academic conferences. Our aim is to create a welcoming atmosphere that fosters collaboration between fellow PKD scholars.
For the first time, PKD Day is coming to Scotland and will be held on 27th April 2018 and hosted by Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
